Our Story
Recognizing a need for healthy fast food alternatives, the founders of Samurai Sam’s opened the first restaurant in Scottsdale, Arizona, in 1994. Their teriyaki grill served chicken, steak and prawns to guests in Arizona. Customer’s quickly tasted and appreciated the uniqueness of our fresh wok’d vegetables, premium grilled meats and steamed rice, and the rest is history.
Back in 2003 Samurai Sam’s partnered with Kahala Brands, becoming part of a larger family with 20 plus years of franchisor experience and support.
Our popular Yakisoba and rice bowls, topped with grilled steak or chicken, fresh vegetables and our signature Samurai Sam’s Teriyaki Sauce, are as popular as ever, and still satisfying customers seeking a healthy fast food alternative.
