Your initial franchise fee for a traditional location is $30,000 and we are looking for people with $100,000 liquid assets and $250,000 net worth. In addition, we suggest that you have $5,000 to $20,000 for operating expenses in reserve until your business is up and running.

Samurai Sam’s Teriyaki Grill^® does not offer financing, but we have a list of recommended lenders we can share with qualified candidates.

Yes, that is an option. Your partner will need to own at least 50% of your organization.

The continuing royalty fee is the greater of 6% of gross sales or $300 weekly excluding sales tax, for traditional locations, and 6% of gross sales for non-traditional locations.

For stores located outside the metro Phoenix area, the advertising fee is 1% of gross sales. Stores within metro Phoenix pay 2.5% of gross sales*.

Your advertising fees help pay for brand building, national and local marketing.

The Samurai Sam’s Teriyaki Grill^® real estate teams work to assist in securing the best locations in each city. Once you become a franchisee, you can also work with the Samurai Sam’s Teriyaki Grill^® team to research and suggest other outstanding Samurai Sam’s Teriyaki Grill^® sites.

Building sales takes effort on many levels—from monitoring food costs, streamlining operations, local store marketing, to ensuring that you give every customer a reason to return.

The Samurai Sam’s Teriyaki Grill^® marketing team will assist you by creating national and local store advertising and marketing initiatives to bring in customers. Diligent effort in all areas of your business will help keep customers coming back.

Samurai Sam’s Teriyaki Grill^® has mapped out a range of site opportunities in each region. If a store already exists in your area, there may be enough local demand to support more stores. Contact your Samurai Sam’s Development team member to discuss opportunities.

Up to two people are included in the training process as part of the initial franchise fee. Additional Team Members may attend for a fee.
