A recent study from Cardlytics compared consumer spending at restaurant chains vs independent restaurants, as diners shift where they spend their dining dollars. While there has been a trend favoring independent restaurants in some dining categories, chain restaurants like Samurai Sam’s® are still leading by a landslide in the quick service category. Diners also prefer to dine closer to home and are sticking to hyper-local and regional brand restaurants.
GIVING CONSUMERS WHAT THEY WANT
As you’re already well aware, not all quick service restaurants are created equal. Today’s consumers are no longer content with boring meals that offer little value for their dollar, let alone nutritional value. They don’t want to travel far, and they want their food fast. And this is something that Samurai Sam’s does very well.
Customers who choose Samurai Sam’s do so because they know they can get a quick and healthy meal that is reasonably priced for the value they receive. With a variety of meals with fresh ingredients, customers are attracted to what Samurai Sam’s offers. In some regions and neighborhoods, the presence of a Samurai Sam’s Teriyaki Grill® can become well-known as a fixture in the community.
So, if you are trying to decide where your restaurant aspirations lie in the battle between restaurant chains vs independent restaurants, a Samurai Sam’s franchise should be on your list.
