Senior Vice President of Development
Mr. Wuycheck has served as Kahala Brands’ Senior Vice President of Development since September 2014. Mr. Wuycheck is a distinguished franchising professional who has worked for a wide variety of successful and nationally-recognized franchise brands, including HomeSmart® International, Edible Arrangements® and Seattle’s Best Coffee®. As an accomplished and visionary development executive, Mr. Wuycheck helps Kahala franchisees make smart decisions when buying a world-class food franchise. He works hand-in-hand with each franchise business owner to design concepts, strategies and processes to build amazing franchise locations.
Vice President of Operations
Kari joined Kahala in 2008 as Regional Director of Operations for Cold Stone Creamery. In 2012, she was promoted to Vice President of Operations for Samurai Sam’s Teriyaki Grill® . With over 30 years of experience in the Restaurant Industry, Kari’s background includes many roles, including Manager, Kitchen Manager, Service & Bar Manager, and Director of Training.
She is focused on operations, quality product, local store marketing, brand standards, customer service, and profitability.
Kari’s passion for the brand shows in everything she does. She builds a strong rapport with franchisees and continually looks for ways to increase their sales/profits working closely with them through various brand initiatives. She truly cares about their business and gets to know each and every one of them on a personal level. She is strongly invested in their growth and wants nothing more than to see them be happy and do well. She combines experience, compassion and empathy with a hands-on, servant leadership approach to help franchisees achieve their goals.
